Being in the mortgage business for many years, I noticed buyers being overwhelmed with information and then making the same mistakes over and over. A meeting with Tyler addressed the problem and a short animation video was developed and is now sent to every buyer so the mistakes would end. The very first two videos sent out had both buyers call and we stopped them from making silly errors during the processing and making the process harder. Every step, choosing narrators, music, verbiage matching animation was collaborated with us and we could not be more pleased with the final product. Thank you Tyler for going above and beyond.
-Bob Wilfinger, Allentown Mortgage Corporation
We were approached by a team member of Allentown Mortgage Corporation. He has no idea how video could help, if it could help his business, or what was possible. The problem? That too many customers were committed to acts that would set back the underwriting process. When COVID-19 hit, their teams had less contact with customers and were seeking a more efficient way to explain where there loan was, what they should and shouldn't do, and to call if the customers had questions.
We recommended to create an explainer animation to cover those very topics. A video can cover the same topic quicker than written messages after all. We were asked to do just that.
First, we began to confirm details. These details included selection of the voice over artist, selection of music to set the tone, and establishing the style of animation.
Second, we recorded the voice over and gathered the assets. Usually we would storyboard an animation to confirm we were on the right track. However, with a limited deadline, we skipped that phase and instead would animate the explainer video's first minute to thirty seconds and send for review. Rinse and repeat.
As we animated the video, we send each section for review, made changes, and moved on. Rinse and repeat, rinse and repeat. We would then send a final version over the Allentown Mortgage, and help them implement it into their pipeline.
After we sent the video over and assisted with the delivery, we had an opportunity to reconvene with our main contact, Robert, about three weeks later. As you read in the testimonial above, we solved their problem over night with a properly messaged video.
This video project was a great one to work on. It's a perfect example of how a business can utilize video to solve problems outside of sales alone. Due to our limited deadline, there are many things that we wish we could have included. However, we were still able to accomplish our client's goals even without a few bells and whistles, which is all that truly matters.
One of the biggest things we needed to solve was the scripting. Their documentation they would send was incredible in length. When we were able to effectively condense that information to a minute and forty-five seconds was a task to accomplish. It's a testament that proper messaging, not just the quality of the video goes lengths to the success video content has in it's role within marketing/business operations.
